A major strength of the School is the diversity
and experience of its faculty. Many of the most knowledgeable homeopaths
in the UK teach at the School. Their wide-ranging skills combine
to provide you with the highest standards of teaching, assessment
and support. They are all active homeopaths who continue to increase
their already considerable expertise through many channels of Continued
Professional Development as well as their everyday practice.

Your homeopathy tutors are registered UK practitioners. Most
are graduates of the School and all are carefully selected for both
their homeopathic knowledge and their ability to give you regular,
supportive and up-to-date feedback.
A supervision network, made up of practicing homeopaths,
work with you from your third year on, to help you develop the practice
of self-reflection, building up your growing competence and preparing
you for independent practice. The School has a growing network,
with now over 80 clinical supervisors who are all invited to annual
CPD at the School of Homeopathy lead by our Supervision Principal,
Sheila Ryan.
The core team is responsible for the major decision making
and running of the School. It includes Misha Norland, Principal,
Mani Norland, Pricipal in the wings, Sheila Ryan, Clinical Supervision
Principal, Sheila Gore first and fourth Year Head and Niki Dungey
second and third Year Head and Administrator. You are encouraged
to contribute to this team management via your elected group representative.
The home study courses are managed by Alternative Training’s
directors Mani and Amanda Norland. The audio lectures in our homeopathy
home study programme are edited recordings from the best classes
at the School, given by Misha Norland, Janet Snowdon, Jo Daly, Murray
Feldman, Jeremy Sherr and Dr David Curtin.

"Misha Norland is
my dear friend and valued colleague for over two decades.
He has a solid foundation in classical homeopathy, both in
its philosophy and practice. Yet, he has the openness and
creativity to explore new avenues and latest advances. His
school is a reflection of this beautiful blend, where students
are taught the science systematically and also encouraged
to explore and enjoy the process."
Dr. Rajan Sankaran, Homeopath, Author, Lecturer, Software

One of our most popular senior lecturers, Janet has been
in practice for over 25 years. She has studied with many leading
homeopaths including George Vithoulkas, Jayesh Shah and Rajan
Sankaran. Sankaran has provided her with an insight into practice
which she has made her own and with which she enchants us
as she teaches cases. She has a busy practice in Bath, England
and has also been involved in proving new remedies. Practical
and with a deep appreciation for the mystery of healing, Janet
offers many insights into the topics of her teaching, and
is an inspiration in her readiness to be amazed and delighted.

Nick graduated from the School in 1993 and set up practice
from his home in Devon. Later he attended Jeremy Sherr's Dynamis
post graduate course which helped him develop his homeopathy
skills further. The School has always remained close to his
heart and he works with us in many levels as mentor, supervisor,
and teacher. Nick's passion for homeopathy really began through
reading Kent's Lectures on Homeopathic Philosophy which he
still enjoys to this day.

Geoff has been a vet for 20 years and until recently ran
a busy mixed surgery treating everything under the sun on
the edge of Exmoor! However the bug of homeopathy bit him
unexpectedly one hay fever summer and he subsequently trained
as a homeopathic vet. When animal owners starting asking for
whatever Daisy had had for their own ailments he became a
homeopath for people too. Now he runs a purely homeopathic
surgery and doesn’t know how many legs his patient will
have until looking into the waiting room. Geoff has a wonderful
teaching style that is always appreciated by students.
