I would always look for a natural non-toxic solution to my health before turning to my GP, especially if I am not in imminent danger and I have time to consider my options and try other treatments. I like my GP, who has been very helpful at times, but I choose not take chemically based drugs unless I really have to. I feel they should be saved for emergencies and last resorts, not the first port of call. If I had a child with ADHD I would look to homeopathy to see if it could help my child.

ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is believed to affect between 5% and 10% of schoolchildren in the UK, and it consists of the inability to concentrate, ease of distraction and hyperactivity. Homeopathy has been shown to offer relief in some instances and is a good natural alternative to Ritalin, which may be prescribed if you take your child to the GP.
