Homeopathy CPD Module
Physical Examinations
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform screening examination of vital signs and physical conditions and to make a screening assessment of the client using the procedures which are governed by the application of local legislation.
At the end of this unit you will be able to observe the client's vital signs; conduct screening physical examinations according to local legislative guidelines; make a screening assessment and refer for further examination. You will also be able to monitor and record findings and discuss outcomes of referral with the client.

The Physical Examinations Module requires around 60 hours of study to complete the work within a 2 month period, i.e. approximately two days a week, or three hours per day. It is up to you, however, to determine how long you are willing or able to commit to this study each week and hence how long you actually take to complete the course. However, you are given twice as long an enrolment period as you should need and you can always extend you study period by re-enroling. We regard this flexibility of time as very important so that you can approach your study in the way that best suits your individual circumstances.

We send you the printed course module, handouts and movie lectures that accompany the course.
Course Module
The course contains 1 unit of 40 pages. The module has a number of activity questions to complete after reading the relevant part of the course. At the end of the module there are two assignments and a video/Skype/face-to-face assessment to guide you through the most important steps you need to undertake to improve your practice. The assignment work is submitted to your tutor for observation and marking assessment feedback. The video/Skype/face-to-face assessment will be agreed with your personal tutor.
Movie lectures
A key part of your study material are the recorded lectures. The majority of these for this module are provided via YouTube links. These specially selected lectures provide a stimulating means of learning about the subject and help to bring the material to life.
Books
Everything you need to study this module are in the unit and recordings, there are no required textbooks. However there are textbooks which we can suggest.
