Teacher biographies

The following teachers provided material and lectures for this First Aid for Pets Course.

Jenny Grist

Jenny Grist, DSH, RSHom
Jenny’s involvement with treating animals began on her family’s dairy farm when she started using homeopathic remedies to treat the cows for everyday health problems.  After ten years of discovering how very effective homeopathy can be in treating animals she then decided to train properly as a homeopath for two-legged animals i.e. humans.  Since 2002 Jenny has run a lively homeopathic practice in the heart of rural Devon but still remains on call for the family’s cows and calves, a small flock of White-faced Dartmoor sheep, some happy hens, a couple of geese, three donkeys, a dog called Meg and a little cat called Susie.  Jenny also teaches Homeopathy at Wellie Level for a Gloucestershire based organization that teaches homeopathy to farmers.

Misha Norland, the School’s Founder, was a Fellow and a founding member of
the Society of Homeopaths and was the first editor of its journal. A practitioner with over 30 years’ experience, he was Head of Homeopathic Research at the first UK homeopathic college. He taught many of the world’s leading homeopaths. He was also an international clinical facilitator, lecturer and author and was well known for his contributions to journals, conferences and new materia medica. As well as helping to run the School in the UK he was the principal clinical teacher for the School’s International Study programme. He loved to blend old and new ideas and weave information together from both scientific and healing perspectives.

Mani also teaches students in the 4th year about setting up in practice. In his ‘other life’ Mani worked in London as a brand and business consultant for over 10 years. He advised board level directors on business creation, vision and image. Mani is passionate about the positive promotion of homeopathy to the general public and has written many consumer facing articles on homeopathy and been interviewed on BBC radio several times.

I love the way it is packaged and presented. I found the number of remedies great value. I am inspired and have already used some of the remedies.
