Every journey into homeopathy begins with a question. It can be a desire to understand health and wellbeing more deeply that gets you started.  For some it begins with caring for a child, recovering from illness, or searching for a more meaningful way of helping others. Many come because they are looking for a career that better reflects their personal values, offers greater flexibility or provides the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. Whatever has brought you here, there is a place to begin.

Many of our students start with a simple curiosity about homeopathy. Often, it’s a call for something to change. Over time, that curiosity grows into a deeper understanding of health, a new direction in life or even a completely new career. You don't need to know exactly where your journey will lead - we'll help you find the path that's right for you.

Professional Study

I want to become a professional homeopath

Recommended pathway: Practitioner Course
If you feel called to a career change, to practise homeopathy professionally, our internationally recognised Practitioner Course provides a complete education from beginner to qualified practitioner. You'll study the philosophy and principles of homeopathy, materia medica, case analysis and clinical practice, supported throughout by experienced tutors and a worldwide community of students. Whether you study online or attend in person, our aim is the same: to help you become a thoughtful, confident and compassionate homeopath, ready to build a safe, rewarding and successful practice.

I have studied some homeopathy

Recommended pathway: Advanced Entry
If you've already studied homeopathy, you may not need to join us from the beginning, you maybe able to join by Advanced Entry. Whether you've completed a few short courses, studied with another school or have previous practitioner training, we'll be happy to consider your prior learning. Many students transfer to the School of Homeopathy because they're looking for a different educational approach, greater flexibility or a deeper understanding of homeopathy. Every application is assessed individually, and we'll help you find the most appropriate place to continue your studies with confidence.

I already work in healthcare

Recommended pathway: Foundation Course 
Many of our students come to us with their own healthcare experience, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, osteopaths, herbalists, naturopaths, nutritionists, physiotherapists and other therapists. They often discover that homeopathy brings a new dimension to the way they understand health and disease, complementing their existing knowledge with a more individualised approach to healing. If you would simply like to expand your current practice and gain a solid understanding of homeopathy, our Foundation Course provides an excellent introduction. If, however, you feel called to retrain as a professional homeopath, our internationally recognised Practitioner Course offers a complete pathway from beginner to qualified practitioner. Whatever your background, we'll help you choose the course that's right for you.

Personal Study

I am completely new to homeopathy

Recommended pathway: Foundation Course
Wonderful! If you're discovering homeopathy for the first time, you don't need any previous knowledge or experience. Our range of Beginner Courses includes short First Aid programmes, our Taster Course (Units 1–2) and the Foundation Course (Units 1–7), allowing you to begin with the level of commitment that feels right for you. Along the way, you'll discover what homeopathy is, how it works, how to use homeopathic medicines and begin learning the art of case-taking. As your ability grows, these courses provide a natural stepping stone towards deeper study and, for many, professional training. Above all, it leads to the possibility of finding your true potential. This possibility is something you continue to discover as you learn, practise and grow.

I want to use homeopathy at home

Recommended pathway: Beginner Courses
Many people study homeopathy simply because they want to care for themselves, their family and friends with greater confidence. You may have no intention of becoming a practitioner, but would like to understand how to use homeopathic medicines safely and effectively for everyday health. Our Beginner Courses for Home, Baby and Pets are designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to use homeopathy in everyday life, without committing immediately to professional training.

CPD Study

I am already a qualified homeopath

Recommended pathway: Postgraduate & CPD Courses
Learning doesn't have to end with qualification. Homeopathy is a lifelong study, and many practitioners return to deepen their understanding, refine their clinical skills and explore new approaches. Our Postgraduate Courses, Events, Clinical Modules and Continuing Professional Development programmes are designed to inspire experienced homeopaths and support them throughout their professional lives.

Choosing a course is an important decision, and we know everyone's circumstances are different. If you're unsure where to begin, we'd be delighted to help.
