His lectures are inspiring and appreciated for their liveliness, depth of knowledge and breadth of factual information.

Jan Scholten, MD

Jan Scholten, MD
Jan was born in Helmond, the Netherlands, and since 1985 he has been practicing homeopathy. Jan is famous for being one of homeopathy's pioneers. His is synonymous in homeopathy for the enormous advances and insights he has made with the periodic table and mineral kingdom. This groundbreaking work has been done with the categorisation of materia medica into characteristic groups and endeavouring to find their 'essence'. This way of thinking about remedies as having 'essences' was first brought to prominence by George Vithoulkas.

Janet Snowdon, RSHom

Janet Snowdon, RSHom
One of our most popular senior lecturers, Janet has been in practice for over 25 years. She has studied with many leading homeopaths including George Vithoulkas, Jayesh Shah and Rajan Sankaran. Sankaran has provided her with an insight into practice which she has made her own and with which she enchants us as she teaches cases. She has a busy practice in Bath, England and has also been involved in proving new remedies. Practical and with a deep appreciation for the mystery of healing, Janet offers many insights into the topics of her teaching, and is an inspiration in her readiness to be amazed and delighted.

Jenny Grist RSHom

Jenny Grist, RSHom
Jenny Grist changed her career in 1987 to train as a homeopath with the School of Homeopathy.  Homeopathy had already been part of her life for the previous ten years, having read widely on the subject and used the remedies to treat the animals on the farm where she lives. It was the success of these early homeopathic cases that brought her to realise how powerful and effective homeopathy could be. Jenny went on to study at the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathy, graduating in 2006. Jenny has built up a thriving practice in Mid Devon and now teaches at various schools including the attendance course at the School of Homeopathy.

Jeremy Sherr, RSHom, BA

Jeremy Sherr, RSHom, BA
Jeremy began his studies at the College of Homeopathy, London, in 1980 and completed a degree simultaneously in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jeremy rekindled the science and art of provings after a century of near silence. He is a brilliant and creative thinker who is well grounded in the philosophy and writings of Hahnemann. His lectures are an inspiring blend of classical homeopathy and original thought, delivered with vitality and humour. Jeremy was awarded a fellowship from the Society of Homeopaths and a Ph.D. from Medicina Alternativa.

The School of Homeopathy has a solid foundation in classical homeopathy, both in its philosophy and practice, yet, has the openness and creativity to explore new avenues and latest advances.

Dr Rajan Sankaran, Patron
Homeopathy is only as effective as its practitioners. Having the right education is the keystone to the making of a good practitioner. Schools are needed that effectively integrate the old and current ideas of classical homeopathy into a seamless practical modality. I extend my support to the School of Homeopathy, which I feel has the potential and the intention to set and raise the standards of homeopathic education.
