Homeopathy 4-year Course

Studying homeopathy can be so much more than gaining a new professional qualification. It can open new doors, build confidence and bring a whole new sense of purpose to your life.

For me, becoming a homeopath has transformed not only my career, but also the way I live and the person I have become. Along the way, I’ve gained a wonderful community of like-minded people who have become friends and colleagues for life.

I first experienced the healing qualities of homeopathy when I became suddenly ill in 2015. I had a constant headache, along with loss of peripheral vision, a dramatic drop in weight and my hair fell out too. I had blood tests and all sorts of medical investigations, but the doctors were unable to work out what was going on. In desperation, I booked a consultation with a homeopath and soon after my first remedy, I felt the symptoms lifting and noticed my hair starting to grow back. My journey back to good health had begun.

I was so inspired by my experience that I felt compelled to gain a better understanding of health and find out more about homeopathy. I enrolled on the Practitioner course at The School of Homeopathy and I’ve never looked back. What began as a desire to understand this fascinating system of medicine eventually became the start of a completely new chapter in my life.

For four years I attended monthly classes, becoming immersed in learning while being surrounded by like-minded people. The School is such a nurturing and peaceful space that the study weekends feel more like a luxurious and wholesome retreat. There is something very special about learning in an environment where you feel supported, encouraged and able to grow alongside others who share your passion.

It hasn’t always been an easy journey. I’m a single mum, so I’ve had to manage the demands of family life, bringing up my two boys, as well as finding the time to work and study. I was also made redundant during the first lockdown, so there have been times when I felt like I’d never make it. But the School has been so great with pastoral care. My designated tutor Amanda talked me through each stage, showing me a way forward when I felt stuck. I would look at my two boys and know that I simply couldn’t quit. They both came to my graduation ceremony in June and I really couldn’t have felt more proud.

Looking back, I realise that studying homeopathy has given me far more than a new profession. I’m a different person now — healthier, calmer and more confident. I’ve found a new way of living, a career that feels meaningful and a precious new community that I know I’ll have for life. Becoming a homeopath has truly changed my life.

It is wonderful to see how the students blossom as their knowledge and understanding of homeopathy develop.
