A good remedy in new mothers for breastfeeding problems such as cracked nipples, blocked milk ducts, mastitis and over-production of milk. Pains are intense and radiate out from around the nipple, sometimes all over the body. The breasts may feel lumpy, stony hard, swollen or tender.

Recurrent or acute tonsillitis; dark red throat (with white spots on tonsils), worse right side; worse warm drinks, better cold drinks; pain extending to ear on swallowing. May also be useful for headache and backache with a bruised, sore feeling, where
there is a constant desire to move but all motion aggravates the pain. The person feels very cold although there may be a feverish, hot feeling in the head. There may also be shivering and a feeling of exhaustion, with restless sleep. The person feels gloomy or fearful of death, alternatively there may be indifference to life.

Symptoms
Worse: Rising from bed, motion, swallowing swallowing hot drinks, cold, change of weather, rainy weather, breastfeeding.
Better: Pressure, lying on abdomen or left side, cold drinks, supporting the breasts (in breastfeeding ailments), bathing, resting, warmth, dry weather.
